- Describing the proposed Coalfields Expressway as the "missing link" to long-term sustainability of the recent economic transformation under way in the coalfields, the Virginia Coalfield Economic Development Authority today adopted a resolution in support of the efforts to obtain state and federal funding to move development of the highway forward.
