Mr. Jon Bowerbank is the founder and principal of EMATS, Inc. A professional Virginia corporation established is 1998 to provide the energy business with quality contractual Energy, Engineering Management And Technical Support services. His work history encompasses over 30 years of diversified industrial knowledge and allied operational experience; the last 19 of which have been spent specifically within the oil and gas industry. This tenure includes practical firsthand experience and responsibility in the followings sectors of the CBM/CMM subset of the natural gas business: asset management, business development, engineering, operations, marketing, sales, transportation and administration.
EMATS, Inc. is an engineering and contracting company whose emphasis is on design and builds services. This includes project development and management; construction services; conceptual engineering and design; contract operations and maintenance; inspection services; laboratory and chemical support services as well as welding, fabrication and associated installation services. Our founding staff of 3 employees has grown in the past years. We now provide jobs for over 275+ employees with offices in Virginia, West Virginia, North Carolina, Kentucky, Wyoming, and Texas. EMATS, Inc. has a large customer base, serving energy needs for over 100 Companies from the Appalachian Basin to the Powder River Basin and across North America.
Prior to EMATS, Inc., Mr. Bowerbank was the Manager for the Pocahontas Gas Partnership/Cardinal States Gathering CBM assets (joint ventures between Conoco, Inc. and Consol Energy) located in the southern area of the Appalachian Basin. The scope of Mr. Bowerbankâs responsibility included asset management, project development, gathering, compression and transportation from approximately 200,000 acres in southwest Virginia. Mr. Bowerbank received his formal educational training at the University of Michigan (Chemical Engineering) and Michigan State University (Financial Administration & History).
