MY VISION FOR RUSSELL COUNTY:
 
IMPROVE QUALITY OF LIFE: Raise every ones standard of living primarily through the following items:

• ECONOMIC DEVELOPMENT: Grow taxable base through expansion and/or retention of mid-sized companies and local small businesses by supporting and encouraging them to call Russell County home.
• EDUCATION: Boost funding across the board (salaries; facility upgrades and on-going maintenance) in order to raise the educational experience of our children and, in turn, improve all our futures.
• INFRASTRUCTURE: Enhance the safety of our roads, increase our paved road systems, and expand utilities.
• COMMERCIAL: Expand local options for shopping; eating and recreation; improve the environment through incentives for existing companies and offer greater assistance for new start up entities.
• RECREATION: Develop more options for adults and children to enjoy here in our home area – both indoors and out.
